Its been a while

Since i last posted a blog, not sure if anyone is reading them at the moment lol. Which somewhat doesn't surprise me.

Anyway, Ive been real busy with the weeks worth of work experience, been back at school, working, formal planning, learning to dance and a whole lot of socializing. I really haven't had the time to do much.

Today i have three things to talk about; Work experience, Slipknot concert and the end of the year.

Well work experience was amazing, seven days of pure work, no school, no worrying about anything except working. I would rather be there everyday than be at school, but on the last few days it did get a bit slow. The people there are really nice. I created a website with the manager called obamarama.me it uses a software called word press which is pretty much like a blog, but it is run off a server insted of an internet based site. It was very interesting, i also learned about using ftp software such as filezilla. Which is used for transfering files between the computer and the server. I really enjoyed my time at iOnline and i might email them soon asking about traineeships. The only annoying thing about working there is that it is a fair way to travel, its not that bad for the hours i was doing but it takes 45 minuts to get there at about 10am in the morning so i would hate to know what its like in peak hour traffic.

Secondly, on friday the 24th i went to see Machine Head and Slipknot at Riverstage in brisbane, australia. There was a lot of people there, they havent been to australia in like three years so the hype was pretty high. Machine Head played a small set mostly of their most recent album "The Blackening" which was ok but they only played like one song from their older albums. I wanted them to play ten ton hammer which is my favorite Machine Head song. The mosh for Machine Head was pretty good, few good blows and took a few back lol. Lets just say Machine Head is what i expected. Slipknot was another story, the first time i have seen them live. They were amazing, i mean they are not only musically talented but they put on such a good show. Ten out of ten! Too bad we couldent make it into the mosh cuz we went up for a drink after Machine Head and there was just too many people to even think of getting back down there. The first four rows of the moshwere suddenly pushed up against the barrier. There was sooo much weed there, surprised a few poeple didnt get arrested for smoking cones in a pubic area. Mind you there is a fuckload more of us than there was them. So yeah the concert was amazing!

End of year, y last year of school. I havent planned anything,jut thinking of going with the flow. Wonder how it will turn out, the formal should be good, learnt how to do the Cha-Cha, made me laugh. And the afterparty should be excellent. Also i wonder when i get notification for direct entry into tafe.

Anyway i have rambelled on a bit so im just gonna leave it there.

The start of work experience

Well today was my first day of work experience with a Web Design and devolper, it was very interesting. I arrived at 10 am, and was shown around the building by the administration lady, she only looked 19 which i thought was weird because everyone looked over 20.

I started making a website, called obamarama, should be interesting when its finished, its a site dedicated to barack obama, its a blog type site run off word press which should be fun to work with. The people there are really nice. Cant wait to go back tomorrow.

And for the first time in my life i saw a salamander, well i think thats what he called them, baby salamanders or something, they are lizards that like live in water, there was two of them in a fish tank, they hardly moved, but were so interesting. Ive never seen anything like it.

Anyway, im going to try to keep a daily blog with a picture.

Todays worth

Welcome to my first blog :)

Don't know how this is going to turn out but you never know.

Had a interesting and fun night last night, and a annoying day today.

Went to a mates house who i haven't seen in two weeks, had a few drinks, and my bad, a whole pack of smokes. Went to his house at 3pm, just to hang before the party, played soul calibur four for a while on xbox 360, brought my laptop over to listen to tunes, browsed youtube for a while, you know.Seen a few people i haven't seen in a while, ended up playing kings cup in the middle of the night. Ended up only been like 8 poeple there, had a mad night. Pics were taken afterwards, was fun.

And today was crap, was tired, frustrated with pearents, typical teenage stuff.
But tonite is alright, was going to see what was on tonite but ended up just staying at home, cant be bothered going out tonite. Also i just got Gym Class Heroe's new album, its pretty good, i dont usually listen to hiphop/rap but this is pretty good, i dont mind it.

Cant wait for Deez Nuts, Wish For Wings and Sinfura to release their new albums aswell gonna be sick. Twenty forth, Slipknot/Machinehead gig, cant wait, also gonna be sick.

Sigh, plus when i get back to school after a weeks worth of work experience, gonna have to finish all of my multimedia stuff so i get my certificate, and finish senior school.

That reminds me i still have to get a suit for my formal, and i have to organise transport. Was thinking something along the lines of a cadilac limo or something fancy and unique that can fit six people in it.
